Hunting

Koeberlein's Hunting Preserve is a family run business. Our hours are very flexible.

KHP specializes in dog training and guided hunts for large groups. We have pheasants, chukar, and quail. We use the strongest flying birds possible. The success of a good hunt depends on having birds that are as close to wild birds as you can have in a release system. We hunt upland game strictly in natural grass fields, and we have a few feed plots that aid in our dove hunting season.

 

Hunting

All birds are released naturally. We do not use traps, so we cannot guarantee that you will find all the birds that are released. However, our hunters generally see more birds than are initially released.

Membership Details

Benefits:

  • No minimum bird release

Prices:

  • Membership: $200 annually (Memberships taken until October 31)
  • Pheasants:  $18.00
  • Chukar:  $13.00
  • Quail:  $8.00
  • Dove Hunting (in season only):  $25.00
  • Guide (if desired):  $50.00
  • Sporting Clays (10 or 50 clays):  $5.00 or $15.00

Non-Members Details

  • You may not have more than five hunters per hunt
  • Your hunt consists of no more than four hours in the field
  • You must pay for any extra birds that you kill
  • There is a minimum bird release of $60.00 per hunter, and a minimum of two hunters

Prices:

  • Pheasants:  $20.00
  • Chukar:  $15.00
  • Quail:  $10.00
  • Guide (if desired):  $60.00

Additional Details

If you want the birds released for you, there will be a $10.00 charge.  Bird prices are subject to change due to the availability of birds.  This concerns both members and non-members.
